The willow is already budding...
Looking great - needs to be watered twice a week for a while though...
Once it starts bushing out we can either keep it trimmed back so you can still see the structure, or let it bush out - we'll see how it goes!

Getting there - the neighbours like it! They popped around and spoke to Anthony
Weaving...
The first few meters only 80 to do.... Looking good already
French Anthony rotivated the line where the living will hedge will be.

More kitchen garden
kitchen garden again
The kitchen garden was in a bit of a state.... Anthony has weeded and replaced some of the dead things (there were surprisingly few!)
A new laurel to fill out the gap between the gates and the house.
Anthony has been down to France to plant up a living willow hedge on the boundary of the property - 80 meters of it! These are the living willows that he'll be planting over the next week or so....

Lots of leaves after the storms this winter. Bruno is coming around in the next couple of days to start clearing up.

We are thinking of getting the pool heated this year. Considering whether to get an air heat pump or to hook up the pool to the geothermal heat pump we already have.
