The (very nice) kitchen man (Alan Parkin) agreed to take our brand new Rayburn down in his van. It is lovely.

The Candadian spruce has been (seriously) trimmed. It was starting to grow into the roof of the farmhouse.

The new patio wall from the road side. The drain pipe is being moved onto the inside of the wall and will come through the pipe embedded in the wall.

The waste pipe for the WC has been moved into the center of the wall. The water pipes have also been moved into the correct place for the loo and the sink.

Our shower trays have been made from the terracotta tiles.

The shower has been tiled with the panels of small tiles. They have also built a shelf for the sink to sit on.

The 3rd bathroom is looking good.

The 2nd bathroom. They have plastered the wall on the inside. We are leaving it like this rather than tiling it.

The tiles are making their way through the house.

The tiles are up in the master bathroom (well some of them at least). They are fantastic!

The bathroom fittings! We found out that the small sinks that we ordered are almost a meter in diameter... Im sure that they looked small in the pictures...

A lot less tiles than there were before - I still think that there will be lots left over.

The new wall! This area is now a real sun trap! They are going to split the shutter in two so that it folds in on itself and closes properly against the new wall.
